At each place where the dealer is authorized to trade, they must post their certificate of dealer registration in a location where the public is likely to see it (this does not apply to an outside Ontario dealer, a lease finance dealer and a fleet lessor, who must keep their dealer certificate at the place of business and produce the certificate for inspection upon request by any person).
While engaged in dealer activities, an individual dealer must carry their certificate and produce it for inspection at the request of any person.
