If you took the OMVIC certification course before January 1, 2010, or have never taken the certification course, you’re eligible to take the Key Elements Course for FREE. The course explains key pieces of legislation that came into effect on January 1st, 2010 that registrants need to know – like compliance and disclosure requirements, advertising and more!

Taking the course is as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Download and fill out the registration form. Submit the form to Georgian College at [email protected] or, register with the UCDA (if you’re a member) by contacting [email protected]
2. Download the MVDA Key Elements Course textbook (a textbook will also be mailed to the address provided on your registration form
3. Study the materials and within 12 weeks, review the digital test requirements document, and register to take your test online

Once you’ve successfully completed the course, Georgian College will send an email with your grade to your personal email address. Students are required to achieve a minimum of 60 per cent on the test to pass the course. All refunds will be adminsitered by OMVIC electronically.
