DDR is growing and will continue to evolve with the input and advice of all those operating across the vehicle sales sector.

Since launching DDR in the spring, the government has been collecting user feedback and is now inviting all dealerships to participate in a quick and easy online survey to help with the ongoing development of the program.

Launched in March 2022 (Ontario making car registrations easier and more convenient), DDR has been called a game-changer for the retail vehicle sector, helping dealers save time and money and making it easier for car dealerships to do business in Ontario.

It eliminates paperwork and speeds up service delivery by enabling participating dealerships to register vehicles online and hand over the keys to customers immediately. DDR is an additional service channel offered by ServiceOntario, where all existing dealer services continue to be available in person.
