Crime Alert: London Police warn about break-ins at some dealerships

The London Police Service has requested OMVIC make all London Ontario (and surrounding area) dealers and salespeople aware of a recent series of break-ins – four within the last 48 hours-at several used car dealerships in the London and neighbouring areas.

London Police say over 100 vehicle keys as well as numerous vehicles were taken. Two of the incidents took place within the London area and a third business, which is located outside of the city, was hit two consecutive times.

Important: As a result of these robberies, London Police is urging dealerships to remove vehicle keys kept on the premises and store them at a more secure off-site location.
